Best Protection for Lacrosse Goalies
These are hands down the best pads for a lacrosse goalie. I can't feel shots taken off the shins or knees, and don't get bruised. This product would've gotten 5 stars except the manufacture changed the design. Unlike the previous 3 velcro straps on the DGgel 555 Deluxe shin guard, the Knapper 555 has mesh all the way down. This makes it hard for men who wear size 13 or 14 shoe to get their feet through them.

Best thing I have found for slowpitch pitching.
A lot of people recommend the Mylec Mk5 for pitchers. I have tried those and these shin guards are MUCH better for softball. These are far more protective and the only possible downside to these is that you can't remove them and put them back on easily for batting. However I have no issues batting with these. They stay in place under my pants and offer protection even when you slide. Wearing these I typically lead my team in doubles, sliding with ease. They get smelly fast, but you can throw them in the washer without issue. Durability is OK. I am a few seasons in, and the surround and ankle supports are starting to rip, so I may need to get another pair soon. If you are thinking of pulling the trigger on these, and don't mind wearing guards all game long, don't hesitate. I am 6'4 and I wear the XL. My brother in law is 5'11 and the XL works for him too. Just a heads up, they will be very tight at first, but they break in well.
