Great for Broomball
Yes, the nubs do fall off, but they are sturdier and last longer than other shoes. I bought my last pair in December and now it's August. I've played dozens of games. In league and in tournaments, and they're lasted well, don't take long to break in, and have great grip. Again, the other low review is for curling, which I cannot comment on, but for broomball they're great.

rubber grippers on sole falling off prematurely
I have used the d gel broom ball shoe (Tractor model) for several curling games. I'm finding that the little rubber cylindrical "grippers" are coming off after only a few curling games. The resulting "debris" on the ice is not good as it can seriously affect the path of the curling rocks. I'm not going to be able to take them on the curling ice anymore. The sturdiness of the sole is unacceptable for curling and I suppose will not be good for broom ball either.
